Wojo graduated from Connecticut's Norwich Free Academy in 1987 after participating in its distinguished four year fine arts program. Subsequently resulting in her acceptance to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she again studied fine arts. Wojo's interest and passion for the human figure and facial features became a main focus and played an important role in her studies. Her medium of choice is chalk pastel, however has become proficient in many art mediums including charcoal, colored pencil, water color pencil, acrylics, oils, and graphics.
After college Wojo began work in the medical field and had been commissioned to create several portraits & murals for community residents. In 1999 a move to Texas afforded her a career change where she worked for Acclaim Entertainment & Laura Britt Design, as well as being commissioned for her art and teaching drawing skills to elementary students.
Wojo has continued teaching to now include preschool through adults. She currently teaches at the Austin Museum of Art, Smart Academy, and privately. Wojo began her art reproduction studio in March 2008 where she accepts work from around the globe to fulfill her passion with the human figure and portrait as well as other artistic projects.
